So.....Who are we?

Hi, I'm Martin Bailey and I own Wildlife & Countryside Services, or maybe it owns me, I'm not sure sometimes!
I am an experienced ecologist and biodiversity consultant, specialising in mammals, wildlife habitat creation & restoration, environmental education including wildlife watching trips to Poland.
After working as a ranger in Scotland for several years, I
moved to a hillside in North Wales in 1997, and started Wildlife
& Countryside Services in 1999.
I have been involved with the Anglesey Red Squirrel Project
since 1999, and was co-author of "Red squirrel Sciurus vulgaris L. conservation on Anglesey: A report of the first five years of the Anglesey Red Squirrel project" in 2002.
I'm regularly called on to conduct ecological
and protected species surveys, create wildlife habitats, and teach kids about the wonderful world of nature.
I live with Cheryl (below) in an old gamekeeper's cottage in a wood on the North Wales coast, where we grow vegetables and rare Welsh fruit trees, keep free range chickens and ducks, and are usually to be found in the company of Meg the
blue merle Welsh collie (sadly, Ruby the black mongrel died). Our cats Mouse and Gadget are also no longer with us - we still miss them.
My spare time, when I get any, is spent mountain biking, motorcycling, walking, watching wildlife, driving old Land Rovers, volunteering with 4x4 Response Wales & British Divers Marine Life Rescue and spending time with my beautiful daughter Caitlin Rose, who is now 15!
My role is to make sure you get the right product or service to suit your needs, so feel free to give me a call on 0333 9000 927 to discuss your requirements.

Cheryl is my indispensible Aussie 'left-hand woman'.
She is in charge of customer service, order processing, book-keeping, office management and pretty much anything else that needs doing. Her most important role is making sure that we maintain a high level of customer service as that is where many businesses are cutting back in order to save money.
We both feel that this is one aspect of the business that needs to be maintained and improved where possible. Since Cheryl has been managing this our positive feedback for customer support and order fulfillment has increased significantly and we'll be doing everything we can to improve it further where possible.
If you phone us for any reason, you'll most likely speak to Cheryl and though she's still getting to grips with the wide range of bizarre and obscure requests we receive, she's proving more than capable at dealing with most customer service issues. Those she can't deal with herself, you'll have to put up with me, sorry!
Feel free to call her on 0333 9000 927.
Her role is to make sure you get your order delivered as quickly as possible and that you are 100% satisfied, so feel free to give her a call.
