This infra-red binocular can be used to sit and watch the wildlife around you or mounted on a tripod and used to record bats emerging from their roost, either to the internal microSD card or output to a laptop.

The Bushnell Equinox Z 4x50mm infra red binoculars have a powerful infrared illuminator and run on 4 AA batteries. They can be used for day or night viewing and have a rugged water-resistant housing. With video out capability, you can output to a tablet or laptop, or just use the integral recording function for video and picture to microSD card (up to 32GB). Tripod mountable and with outstanding optical clarity.

This is a nice piece of kit, and though you can't walk around and look through the viewfinder without walking into stuff (because of its 4x magnification), it is well suited to to scanning the fields at night to see what's about or for mounting on a tripod to film bats as they emerge.
