Bat Detector/Recorder Key
These are the options for passive (static) bat recorders that can record in full spectrum and/or zero crossing.

My choice? The SM4BAT FS (£1315), Batlogger A (£960) and Batlogger A+ (£1250) record only in full spectrum. The Anabat Swift (£1255) and Mini Bat (£770) both record in full spectrum and/or zero crossing.
For longer deployment times, compact design, easy setup and robust construction, it's the either the Swift, SM4BAT FS or Mini Bat every time. If you need a built-in GPS, it's the Swift.

The SM4BAT Bat Detector |

The new SM4 family consists of two models: The SM4BAT FS and the SM4 (acoustic). They record in full spectrum. The ultrasonic recorder has a single microphone with cable and the acoustic model has two integral microphones.
Designed around the size of four D-sized batteries, the SM4 family of recorders are able to be deployed for longer periods.
